We offer a relaxed atmosphere so
just walk in and let us do the work!
Mac's was opened in October 1969 by Gary
"Mac" McIntosh. Gary worked alone for
many years with just a few temporary
barbers coming and going. In 1994 he hired
Larry Clark for part-time work. Larry had
just retired from Eli Lilly and had worked
part-time in Karl's Barber Shop. Larry still
works on Saturdays.
In 1996 Gary hired Jennifer Sweet for
full-time employment. Jennifer purchased the
shop from Mac in January of 2009.
In 1999 Pat Myers was hired. Pat had
previously worked at Mike's Barber Shop on
the south side of Indianapolis. Tracy
Stauffer joined Mac's in 2002. The most
recent addition to the team is Justin Borton
in 2010.
